How It Works!
The Nuts and Bolts of the Bowl-a-thon.
The TEAMS:
FIERCE supporters like you organize some of the most fabulous bowling teams. Teams can have as many people as they choose helping to raise money to reach your team fundraising goal, but only 6 people can bowl the day of the event.
Teams members come up with creative and unique ways to express themselves using the theme of the Bowl-a-thon, then come together to bowl, eat good food, listen to music, and see who has the most spirit, best costumes and more.
Finally, all teams show up the day of the event, dressed to impress and have a fabulous time! This year, our goal is to have 24 teams bowling with FIERCE at the Bowlathon on October 20th.
The FUNDRAISING:
Bowl-a-thon Teams, with the amazing leadership of team captains and support from FIERCE, spend three months getting pledges and donations from friends and families.
Team members collaboratively and individually raise a total of $600 or more. There are a number of ways to fundraise including making in-person asks, written or emailed asks and more. FIERCE supports teams with email fundraising templates you can customize and personal Team Orientation and Fundraising trainings to help you reach your fundraising goal. Team members collect their donations with our user-friendly bowlathon website or in-person and send it to FIERCE.
