For decades and centuries our communities have experienced and faced the reality of police violence on our bodies, expressions, and lives. As we come closer to Mother's Day we want to stand with the Mothers of those who have been killed by the NYPD. We want to demand justice for Ramarley Graham.
This Friday May 9th (the Friday before Mother's Day), the mothers of Anthony Baez, Sean Bell, Amadou Diallo and others will stand in solidarity with Constance Malcolm (mother of #RamarleyGraham) to call on the Dept. of Justice to do a full investigation into the killing of Ramarley. Join FIERCE and our ally organizations; Justice Committee (JC), New York Civil Liberties Union - NYCLU, ColorOfChange.org, MXGM's People's Self-Defense Campaign and others to stand with these mothers.
For more information please contact Lead Organizer John Blasco. We will be meeting at 12:30pm at Foley Square: Worth Street, between Centre and Lafayette.
