Welcome New Executive Director
Hey FIERCE community,
Hey FIERCE community,
Good Afternoon FIERCE Allies, Supporters and Friends,
Pride Season is here and we know how much the po' loves to pick at us when we're celebrating ourselves. So we need everyone's help in trying to keep our people's safe for Pride.
Are you fed up with being mistreated because of your age, race, sexuality and/or gender? Interested in taking action and getting your voice heard? Well come to FIERCE and learn about youth organizing and social change! ELP1 is FIERCE's paid leadership development program for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Two-Spirit, Gender Non-Conforming, and Queer youth of color between the ages of 13-23. In ELP1 you will get trained on community organizing, political education, and undoing-oppression.
This daylong institute is about how we support and center the leadership of LGBTQ Youth of Color in our organizations and movement for racial and economic justice.
FIERCE's BOWL-A-THON is a youth-organized grassroots fundraising extravaganza that brings together over 150 community members to raise money, dress in fantastic costumes, and party - all to support FIERCE! Last year was an epic celebration – this year get ready for even more fun! Sign up and make a team with your friends, co-workers or comrades here!! You can also make a general donation online to help FIERCE reach our fundraising goal.
